This Privacy Policy explains how Culture Corner, a service operated by Elevare Digital NJ ("Culture Corner," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when you visit https://culturecorner.elevaredigital.io/, connect a TikTok account, or use our creator tools.

1. Scope and service

Culture Corner is a creator-controlled web application that lets a user authenticate with TikTok, select an original video, enter or edit a caption, and send that video to the user's own TikTok inbox as a draft. Culture Corner does not automatically publish a transferred draft. Final review, editing, privacy selection, and publication occur inside TikTok.

2. Information we collect

Information from TikTok. When you authorize Login Kit, TikTok may provide the permissions you approve, including your TikTok open identifier, display name, avatar or profile information available through user.info.basic, access token, refresh token, granted scopes, and token-expiration information.

Content and instructions you provide. We process the video file you select, its filename, format, size, duration, caption and hashtags, your confirmation that you have the necessary rights, and the destination TikTok account.

Technical and usage information. We may collect timestamps, browser and device information, IP address, authentication state, upload status, TikTok response or publish identifiers, error messages, security events, and diagnostic logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

Communications. If you contact us, we collect the information you include in the message and the contact details needed to respond.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate and display the TikTok account you chose to connect.
• Perform the upload-to-draft action you expressly request through TikTok's Content Posting API and video.upload scope.
• Show upload progress, completion, and error information.
• Maintain account security, prevent misuse, investigate failures, and protect the service.
• Respond to support, privacy, deletion, and legal requests.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use TikTok account data for targeted advertising, data brokerage, or unrelated profiling.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the service you request and perform our agreement with you, based on your consent when you connect TikTok, for our legitimate interests in security and reliable operation, and as necessary to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw TikTok authorization at any time, although prior lawful processing remains valid.

5. How information is shared

We disclose information only as needed to operate the service:

• TikTok: the selected video, caption, authentication credentials, and technical request data are transmitted to TikTok at your direction.
• Infrastructure providers: hosting, database, storage, security, and monitoring providers may process information for us under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Legal and safety purposes: we may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, our rights, or the integrity of the service.
• Business changes: information may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to this Policy and applicable law.

We do not authorize service providers to use TikTok user data for their own advertising or unrelated purposes.

6. Storage, security, and international processing

TikTok access credentials are stored server-side and are not exposed on public pages. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls, encrypted transport, limited credential access, OAuth state validation, and short-lived upload transfer mechanisms. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain active TikTok connection records only while needed to provide the service or until you disconnect or request deletion. Access and refresh tokens are deleted or rendered unusable after disconnection, revocation, expiration without renewal, or account deletion. Uploaded video files and temporary transfer URLs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to complete or troubleshoot the user-requested transfer, then deleted or allowed to expire. Basic upload records, security logs, and legal records may be retained for up to 90 days, or longer only when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or law. Backup copies may persist for a limited rotation period before deletion.

8. Your choices and rights

You control every file and upload request. You may disconnect Culture Corner in Creator Studio, revoke the app in TikTok account settings, or contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about our processing. Rights vary by location, and we may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

To request deletion of your Culture Corner account data and associated TikTok connection records, email privacy@elevaredigital.io with the subject “Culture Corner Data Deletion.” We will acknowledge and process verified requests within the period required by applicable law.

9. Cookies and local storage

We may use strictly necessary cookies or similar browser storage to maintain authentication, preserve OAuth state, prevent cross-site request forgery, and keep the service secure. We do not use TikTok-derived data for cross-site advertising.

10. Children

Culture Corner is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in a user's jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.

11. Third-party services

TikTok is a separate service governed by TikTok's own terms and privacy policies. This Policy governs Culture Corner's processing and does not control TikTok's independent collection or use of information.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the service, law, or platform requirements. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the service when reasonably practicable.
